New Mexico Human Services Department Awards Fairbanks LLC Multi-Year Contract

The New Mexico Human Services Department (HSD) awarded a competitively bid contract to Fairbanks for continuation of their Random Moment Time Study (RMTS), Administrative Claiming, and Direct Medical Services Cost Reporting and Settlement programs statewide. Fairbanks initially partnered with HSD in 2010 to implement RMTS and Administrative Claiming, including drafting a revised New Mexico MAC Claiming Guide for CMS approval. In 2014, Fairbanks helped HSD expand their program to include Direct Medical Services Cost Reporting and Settlement, additional training, program monitoring, and audit support for the new reimbursement program. With this new contract, Fairbanks will continue to support HSD in enhancing the reimbursement process while complying with applicable regulations and guidance from CMS.
