State of Texas Health and Human Services Commission Awards Fairbanks Contract Expansion and Multiple Year Extension
Chicago, Illinois, July 1, 2019
The Texas Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) awarded a contract to Fairbanks to continue the successful administration of the Random Moment Time Study (RMTS) and Medicaid Administrative Claiming programs for Local School Districts (ISD), Early Childhood Intervention facilities (ECI), Local Health Departments (LHD) and Mental Health/Individuals with Developmental Disabilities programs (MHIDD).
In addition to the statewide implementation of the Fairbanks state-of-the-art software to assist HHSC in managing all aspects of the MAC program, Fairbanks has developed and deployed a web-based cost reporting and audit software toolset to assist HHSC in the monitoring and auditing of the Medicaid cost reports for over 16 cost report areas. The toolset tracks all auditing and is used in the establishment of interim cost-based rates for Medicaid providers.
This multi-year contract extends the working relationship between Fairbanks and the State of Texas.
