Chicago, Illinois, September 01, 2017

Fairbanks and DHHS are working together to implement NEBMAC on a statewide basis along with an expansion of school-based services, including nursing, visual care, mental health and substance abuse, personal assistance, and specialized transportation under the MIPS Program. In addition to the expansion of services, Fairbanks is implementing a new online Cost Report claiming tool for the school districts in Nebraska.

Approval of both the revised NEBMAC Guide and the expanded State Plan Amendment (SPA) by CMS are the result of extensive collaboration between Nebraska DHHS, CMS, and Fairbanks.
